About Heather
Heather has a bachelor's degree in Biology with a track in Zoology from Towson University. She was fully intending to become a veterinarian, but after ten years in the veterinary field, she needed to explore the other loves in her life: entertainment, creative writing, and eventually... carpentry. Originally from a small town in Maryland, Heather packed up her little car and moved across the country to Hollywood when she was 22 years old. Like many people you'll meet out there, Heather wanted to make it big... as a singer. Too bad she has horrible stage freight. She sang a couple of songs, then moved on to Creative Advertising at Warner Bros. where she really honed in on her craft of writing. Now with dozens of custom content scripts and copy under her belt, she's ready to take the next step.

ADVENTURES OF BEATRICE: VALLEY OF FLAMES (novel)

STORY:
Beatrice and the gang are back and they've just finished the 8th grade. They're celebrating the start of summer with a group camping trip when Beatrice and Megan discover that someone they know has been spying on them for the evil witch, Sirena. Not only has Sirena been keeping tabs on them, but she's back. And she's back for blood. When Beatrice's loves ones are taken hostage in Nightingale, she doesn't hesitate to go after them. She has no idea which realm they're in, so her journey begins in the Valley of Flames where everything you see is on fire-- including the flesh-eating hags. Beatrice has no choice but to put her trust in Sirena's little friend to try to rescue everyone she loves. She doesn't like the plan, but it's the only one she's got.
